Cooler Master Launches The Cosmos II Ultra Tower Case
Thermaltake Announces Frio Advanced CPU Cooler
Thermaltake announced the Frio Advanced CPU cooler this morning,
which is an updated version of the Frio and Frio OCK CPU Coolers that
have already been on the market for some time. The original Thermaltake
Frio CPU cooler came out in 2010 and it featured five 8mm heat pipes
that attached to the base of the heatsink. We reviewed this cooler
and found it to be fairly decent for when it was released. The new
Thermaltake Advanced CPU cooler still has five heat pipes, but they
directly touch the CPU and are just 6mm in diameter now. Thermaltake
also changed the look of the cooler and added a larger 130mm fan.
Thermaltake says the Frio Advanced CPU cooler can handle processors with
up to 230W TDP.

Unlike the traditional welding between the heat-pipe with the heat-sink which created extra welding points acting as heat collectors on the heat-sink, the Thermaltake Frio Advanced consolidated the most up-to-dated CPU cooler technology using mechanical assembling on the heat-pipe with the heat-sink which provides a precise and direct contact for flawless heat transmission from the CPU to the heat-sink. Plus, the 5 x 6 mm heat-pipes with direct touch to the CPU surface and high density aluminum fins allow larger surface area that not only increased heat conductivity but also grant for a better heat dissipation. Moreover, the Thermaltake has also incorporated the Pulse-width modulation (PWM) technique to control the speed of the Frio Advanced’s dual 13cm fans from 800~2000 RPM in favor of a smarter fan noise management for overclockers.

Corsair Announces Hydro Series H40 and H70 CORE Liquid CPU Coolers
Corsair today announced two more Hydro Series CPU coolers to the
companies popular water cooling product line. The new coolers are the
Hydro Series H40 and the Hydro Series H70 CORE liquid CPU coolers. The
Hydro Series H40 is Corsair's new entry-level $59 water cooler and is
designed to provide effective and reliable liquid cooling at a price
that's affordable for mainstream computer users. Like all Corsair Hydro
Series liquid CPU coolers, the H40 is a self contained, closed-loop
system that comes pre-filled and never needs refilling. To help keep
costs down the Corsair H40 features an aluminum base plate and uses a
thin 120mm radiator.

The new Hydro Series H70 CORE is based on Corsair's award-winning Hydro Series H70 and is provided without the fans so users can personalize their cooling performance. It is aimed at experienced PC performance enthusiasts who already have 120mm fans, or who otherwise wish to supply their own fans. The H70 CORE includes a 38mm double thick radiator and a copper base plate for superior cooling potential.

The H40 and H70 CORE will be available in October from authorized Corsair retailers and etailers worldwide. The Hydro Series H40 has an MSRP in the United States of $59 USD, and the Hydro Series H70 CORE has an MSRP in the United States of $89 USD. Thermaltake Announces Water Cooled Chaser MK-I LCS PC Case
For cooling the Chaser MK-1 comes outfitted with 200mm Color Shift fans for front intake and top exhaust. There is also a 140mm rear exhaust, with room to add an additional 200mm top exhaust fan, 200mm side intake, and bottom 120mm intake. The top of the Chaser MK-1 can have the 200mm fans changed out for dual 120 or 140mm fans. You can also mount a dual 120mm radiator in the top.
Also in the top is a hard drive dock that can support both 2.5” and 3.5” hard drives. The front panel of the Chaser MK-1 also has two USB2.0 and two USB3.0 ports. Having USB3 on the front panel isn't too rare anymore; what makes the ports on the Chaser MK-1 rare is that they are internal USB connections. So no more running extension cables out the back of the case to the back of the motherboard. The downside is that if you don’t have a motherboard that supports internal USB3 connections then you can’t use the ports. On the other hand, you also have an excuse to upgrade your motherboard!
